Our Sawn Treated Timber (4×2) at 2.4 meters is a high-quality timber offered in both C16 and C24 grades, tailored for projects demanding superior structural integrity.The timber undergoes a meticulous pressure treatment process, enhancing its durability and making it highly resistant to wood rot, even in damp and humid conditions. It is important to acknowledge, however, that while this treatment significantly augments the timber’s resilience to moisture, it does not render the wood waterproof. As such, appropriate measures should be taken to ensure its longevity in environments where it may come into direct contact with water.That being said, the treatment does work to prevent bothersome burrowers from wreaking havoc on your build’s structural integrity.We supply good quality 50×100 timber in various lengths:3m,3.6m,4.2m,4.8mand6m, all of which are sold in a consistent thickness of 47mm.Please Note:The finished size of our carcassing timber may vary slightly from the nominal dimensions. You can expect to receive timber that is finished with a thickness 2mm less and a width 5mm less than the nominal measurements stated.
